Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much does it cost?Initial appointments of 80mins are $290. Standard therapy sessions of 50mins are $180. Neuropsychological & cognitive assessments are tailored to the individual, price on request.
-
Is there a wait to be seen?I am not currently accepting new referrals.
-
What ages do you see?I specialise in working with children & adolescents up to 18 years of age. I also work with parents and families. I do not offer individual therapy or assessments to adults.
-
Who needs to be at the first appointment? For the initial assessment appointment, it is important to have both the young person and at least one caregiver present. There is the opportunity to meet individually, however input from both the parent and the individual perspective is important.
-
What if I can't make my appointment? You can cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice. Due to high level of demand, cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur a full charge. If you are unwell, we can change this to a teletherapy appointment. Please note that I am unable to extend the session time if you are running late, due to the impact this has on other appointments.
-
How many sessions will we need? The number of sessions required will depend on your individual needs. Some families do well with short-term intervention (4-8 sessions) and others require more intensive supports (12+ sessions). We will discuss what is right for you at your initial assessment session.
